Cozy Slippers
Cozy Slippers is a three-piece indie band from Seattle with a penchant for buoyant guitars and breezy vocal harmonies. They released their debut album on Kleine Untergrund Schallplatten (vinyl) and Subjangle (CD) in 2022. The band looked to themselves for the production of the record while using the songs to attempt to make sense of the rapidly changing world outside. Previously, Cozy Slippers had released the 7” single A Million Pieces (Kleine Untergrund Schallplatten, 2019) and two EPs: Postcards (Jigsaw Records, 2018) and Late Night in Summertime (self-released, 2017).
The band toured the UK in 2019 and was able to share the stage with like-minded acts such as Jetstream Pony, Suggested Friends, and Crumbs. Back home in Seattle, Cozy Slippers have played with artists like Rose Melberg, Lisa Prank, Medejin, Detective Agency, and Flying Fish Cove.
Cozy Slippers have been played by outlets such as KEXP, KAOS, KXSF, WRUW, KNDD, KHUH, Phoenix FM London (UK), Radio X Basel (Switzerland), Radio FM4 (Austria), Byte FM (Germany), Cycles Per Second (US), Get in Her Ears (UK), It’s a Jangle Out There (Australia), Grrls Like Us (UK), Postcards from the Underground (UK), La Merienda Contempopranea (Spain), Indieshop (US), and Emma’s House Music (Germany).
